• Option 1 – Directory Listings
• Option 2 – Banner Advertisements
These options will now be broken down and described below…
Option 1 – Directory Listings
Within this section the potential customer is provided with a further two options as follows:
• Option 1.1 – Basic Directory Listing
• Option 1.2 – Full Directory Listing
Option 1.1 – Basic Directory Listing
Once the customer has selected this option and paid for the amount of months that they require, (this is customizable through the administration section of your website and can be any amount), they will then go to a secure payment screen to set up their recurring payments.
Once they have placed their order it will bring them to the Client Directory Console. Your client will be able to edit their account details and data throughout the duration of their contract through a user friendly WYSIWYG page editor.
Option 1.2 – Full Directory Listing
The Full directory listing allows unlimited text, up-to (x amount of) Images, full contact details. Once the customer has selected this option, they can choose the length of the advertising period and are then taken to a payment screen to set up their recurring payments.
Once through the secure payment area, they are brought to the Client Directory Console. Your client will be able to edit their account details and data throughout the duration of their contract through a user friendly WYSIWYG page editor.
Category Selection
After a customer has selected the type of listing they wish to pursue, they are then asked what category’(s) they would like to be listed within. (Multiple categories can be chosen, however this will add more to the basket once they have confirmed their selection).
NOTE:
A “Basic Directory Listing” is a simple entry in the directory within its relevant category, whereas the “Full Directory Listing” is prioritized above others in position within listings, possess a larger advertised area and has an additional ‘click here’ button to view more.
Option 2 – Banner Advertisements
This is where the customers will have a number of options on banner choices, placements and how many months they wish to advertise for. The banner choices will be selected from three types of banner;
Banners are set at the top the chosen page within the directory, they will be able to choose which category of the website they want to advertise on (if it is available) and what level of the chosen website category they wish to choose.
Example Levels – Gold, Silver and Bronze
The below examples, (package names can be customized), are displayed at the top of the chosen page within the directory:
Gold – This could be Home Page of the website
Silver – This could be the 1st drill down from the Home Page
Bronze – This could be the 2nd and beyond drill down from the Home Page
Button Advert
Once the customer is happy with the choice of Banner, Category and whether they need it designing or not, they will be passed through to the secure payment area where the checkout will calculate the cost after the customer has chosen how many months they want. Once the customer has paid the system will automatically setup the recurring payments.
Newsletter Sign Up and Data Collection
Users on your website will have the option to sign up to receive newsletters by simply entering their email address and clicking “submit.” This will allow you to continually gather relevant data should you wish to send out marketing newsletters via a 3rd party service or information as part of a campaign to increase business, enquiries or sales.
Advanced Banner Management Software
As part of your website you will be making use of imagery and banners to showcase your business and services. You will have complete control over what goes on your website and where. These banners can be presented as a slide show or image fader or any number of other transitional effects that are most suitable to your website.
Granular Privileges
If your business was to employ several employees and you intend for them to work on your website, you may want to restrict the areas they have access to.
Granular privileges allow multiple user types with different privilege levels. This works by first creating a “Privilege Group” then choosing which modules and areas of the admin is accessible or restricted. A “Privilege Group” allows “Hide”, “Edit” & “Create” restrictions on each individual module within the Content Management System (CMS) and website. Admin/Users can then be added to a “Privilege Group” adopting the access restrictions.
There is no upper limit to the amount of Admin Privilege Groups you setup.
Advanced Search Facility
The advanced search facility allows you to designate custom filters to the search facility within the admin section of your website. These filters are then made available to customers on your website, allowing a user to apply the filter to a particular search query.
Typical filters include elements such as “time of creation” and “relevance” but can be completely customised to cater for keywords (such as size, colour, category or genre), or numbers from any field (a common use would be filter by price range).
Custom 301 Module
If you have an existing website, the 301 module can prove invaluable for retaining the rank of the pages of your site. A 301 redirect will seamlessly move (or redirect) a customer from one page / URL to the newer version on your website. It also informs search engines that the page has permanently moved to a new location, passing a large percentage of its score.
Within the module you can designate the original page and the new one you wish to redirect to.
