The Old Regent Ballroom A Versatile Venue
The Old Regent Ballroom located in Stanford-le-Hope, has welcomed members of the public since 1935, when it originally opened as The Regent Cinema. Today The Old Regent Ballroom has again attracted the public eye, offering not only dance classes for various age groups such as:
- Linedancing (Intermediate, Fast Intermediate)
- Street Dancing (6-10yrs, 11+yrs)
- Ballroom & Latin (Children, Adult Beginners, Adult Practice, Adult Intermediate)
- Latin-in-Line
- Zumba
But also a venue for social functions, such as:

- Birthday Parties
- Quiz Nights
Complete with stage, two large function halls and a bar, owner Frankie Cull welcomes you to use the Old Regent Ballroom as a location for entertainment, fitness and leisure, not forgetting of course, celebration.
Easily Accessible Leisure Centre/Function Rooms
The location is ideal for those of you who don’t live locally to Stanford-le-Hope, offering off street parking, a five minute walk from the train station (Fenchurch Street to Southend Central Line) and a two minute walk from the 100 bus stop. In close proximity to St Margaret’s Church, it has been the desired venue for wedding receptions, transforming itself into a beautiful space for dining and dancing along to the music performed on stage.
