But some people just don’t want to be helped, check this amusing conversation about someone that broke Facebook rules and didnt want to listen to advice about changing it.
[I’ve been deleted off the local Facebook page but no explanation as to why. Can you tell me why please?
[Facebook Admin] Hi, believe you are breaking Facebook guidelines and the local group guidelines by operating a personal profile as a business – you need to change your name and create yourself a business page for your business. if your current page isnt a personal page you can ‘convert’ it to be a business page – I have done this for a few clients and it works well, happy to help you do this as a favour.
[Facebook Member] I have a business page. I also don’t have a personal Facebook other than these two.
[Facebook Admin] Then they both look like business pages – your best bet is to change the name to your real name – Facebook have actually deleted accounts like yours where people are acting as a business on their personal page
[Facebook Member] I can add the Local Facebook group page through my business page. So as a resident I can now have no say on the page, for instance when I see a couple of boys running off with peoples bins I can’t say nothing

[Facebook Member] I can’t belong to my community page because of my Facebook name as its my company name? it’s alright for me to support local events and support local charities but if I want to belong to a local page,I can’t because of my name?

We offer Pages for professional personas, organizations and businesses. YOu can find out in Facebook help what names are allowed on Facebook. Other companies pointed out your ‘blatant’ breach of the rules – I actually thought that you were actually called your company name, although I did think it was a strange name.

[Facebook Admin] Well if you think I am being picky and are not going to change your incorrect personal Facebook account name then we cannot help you anymore – please re-read the info I have gone out my way to point out to you – my life and business are very busy and we invest a huge amount of time in the Facebook Local group and when someone complains and someone breaks a facebook / local group rule and then calls me picky I get slighly fed up as you can imagine.
