Website Basic questions – Too busy to worry about building a website but know you need one? We often get asked similar questions to below, perhaps these questions and answers could help you
Client: My price range for a site like I need is £500-£1500, what are options available to me on that budget? Can I have my work on the site and stuff like that, also can I add my own stuff to the site? To get all my info is it possible you have some sort of questionnaire that you can send and i can fill out as I think I am quite happy for you to make a lot of the decisions about the website as I am not too bothered what it looks like as long as it looks professional and cant really afford time away from work at the moment.
Delicious: To commence work on your new website we will require a 50% deposit. Ideally it would be good if you could have a brief meeting with us. If this is not possible, we can do the consultation over the phone and email after supplying you with our website questionnaire. If you choose that we do not produce your webcopy then you can email us the text for the website. We can find generic stock images / pictures for your website if you haven’t got any.
Client: What else do I have to pay for?
Delicious: The only additional costs you could occur are:
The booking of your further domain names if you wanted to have multiple sites. We charge £45 per year.
Our hosting costs in the second year are £45 per year, this gives you up to 5 professional emails accounts & stores your website on our server
If you didn’t want to supply your own webcopy we can do that for you for about £300 for 2500 words or 10 pages
Premium stock images can cost from £2 upwards if we cannot find a stock image that suits your requirements from our catalog
If you email us your company name, address & tel no. then I’ll create a deposit invoice. Once this has been paid we can start with the design. If you have any text then please email it through to me. Even if its only a brief outline then we can do the rest.
Client: Can you confirm pricing for a ‘static website’ and one where we can change it?
Delicious: Price for a static website is £400-£1199 and Content Management System website is £650-£1449
There are two different websites you can have. One is a static website in which any changes to the website would have to be done by us.The other website is a Content Management System, this is about £250 more expensive but is built so you can do any changes yourself and add pictures etc.
