Great time to try to start work in the website design industry, we are always willing to give trainee website designer a chance as we have lots of opportunites for the right candidate here at Delicious Webdesign.
[Trainee Website Developer] I am 21 and left university about 4 months ago now and will be talking to all the big Essex based website design companies over the next month in the hope I can gain employment. I am a designer and developer (website programmer / coder) that lives in Billericay in Essex and looking for a career in web design. I can currently code in:
HTML5/CSS/JAVASCRIPT & JQUERY/PHP and SQL.
I am also a designer and have had a passion for both coding and designing for nearly 4 years. This summer I was accepted into the designers community because of my work. If you would like to see any work just email me and I will attach some.
I am currently freelancing and have a customer base that consists of around 10 people, all are satisfied. I completed 2 weeks work experience last year in a web design firm in brentwood and they were pleased with my work.
[Website Designers] We get lots of requests for work as a mini test can you look through one of our own websites (below) or one on the portfolio pages and give us some recommendations to fix any problems you may find or improve the design or SEO of the site, once we see we what your ideas are perhaps we can take this further.
[Trainee Website Developer] I will look through your website and get back to you in a bit (the minitest.)
Not many of the websites i have actually worked on are live unfortunately. One of the sites I am working on is my portfolio at the moment that should be finished soon.
Here are some examples of my work. I decided to include them from my Essex Webdesigner account as I am still working on my portfolio at this point in time.
I hope that is okay 🙂
Website 1 is the design for that site at this point in time. I am just running over it and will start coding today.
Website 2 a frame of a UI I am working on for a webapp that a client has requested.
Website 3 is part of a UI set that I have just submitted to start sale (awaiting approval) on graphic river.
Website 4 was actually part of a webapp that I was developing as part of a personal project.
Website 5 is a coded version of the above mentioned webapp. The form is fully interactive with both client and server side validation in place.
