Website Redesign Considerations

Its good when initially thinking about having your webstie redesigned to list whats important to you and what you want improved / changed, here is a typical request for a website redesign
We are considering redesigning the main website, here are some questions:
1, Would you like to be considered for this? Does your company’s skillset allow you to take it on?
2, What ideas / changes / updates / designs would you suggest?
3, When can you start and how long do you anticipate it taking?
Considerations for the redesign
1, Website has a Blog with lots of content so the Blog forms a big part of the website content.
2, Navigation should work on mobile devices (Our drop down menus don’t work currently)
3, Logo will remain (it works well on black or white background)
4, Contact forms need to be upgraded to use our newest type of form.
5, Our main website has the oldest design and looks out of place compared with the others.
6, Current design is a bit tired / dated
7, Need Fresh / Modern Design
8. W3C standards conformed to
9, Attention should be placed on the portfolio as currently there are 3 pages of sites – perhaps these should be divided into sections (ecommerce / brochure sites / directory sites etc)
