Lots of website owners have decided that the service and quality they receive from us make it worthwhile moving to us, give us a call and we can explain the steps you need to take to move your website / domain to us, just like this company did:
[Website Owners] We feel its time to move to a new website designer, We have chosen yourself Delicious Webdesign and you have agreed to take over the support and promotion of the site. There is no disputing that the old website is a good site but after chatting with the new owners they feel that he needs to be in complete control with the ability to add images, book calls via and such like.
As I have implied we are not involved in the day to day running and will be even less so soon. The bottom line is that if they so wish, then the site is to be re-directed as you explained to me.
If there is some middle ground to keep the new owners, with more control given to them to add and adapt, then by all means talk to them. If not then please take their instruction. We are still yet to receive any response regarding the message above. Please advise accordingly as we are keen to get this matter dealt with.
[Website Designers] Hi Regarding the website here are my initial actions / thoughts / suggestions to improve the conversion factor from website visitors to email enquiries / phone call enquiries:
Actions
1, have re-initiated the monthly google stats reports
2, have sent a one-off monthly stats report
3, checked the contact form
4, improved / upgraded the contact form
5, increased the size of the telephone number at the top of the page
6, added a footer menu
7, the image showing the old website that was on the contact page has been removed (website didn’t exist) – new street view image of the shop has the correct website name on it.
8, Added image viewer to news section
9, Added new plugin on news section to automatically reduce the size of image uploads.
10, created you as an editor on the website (email sent) to update the news section
Thoughts / Suggestions
1, Review the front page revolving images, I personally don’t think they are the best photos, if you supply different ones we can replace the old images with your new ones.
2, Take a New photo of the front of the shop and have that as a main image photo (gives confidence to website visitors that you are a ‘real’ business). Send it to us and we can change it for you.
3, Use the news section – will deter customers from contacting you if they see no news in the last 9 months
4, continue to use the news section regularly to update the website (excellent for seo)*
5, Facebook page should be changed to use the website’s correct domain.
6, Review all pages, add more text / more photos / more information
7, We can perform step 6 for you to improve the website / SEO as part of a project.

Your news pages (Blog)
Hopefully its quite straight forward to post your info but here are some Instructions. How to write your first post please see the info on how to do this below [removed]
We have created some categories for you please ensure every post has a relevant category selected (you can also create your own categories) please use only one category per post
[Old Website Designers] I should also add that another client done what you were asking previously and now their website visitors are down year on year by 51%. If we wanted an ‘easy’ life we would simply do this but as I have explained previously I don’t think this is the best route forward, on the back of the email below and re-reviewing what you have I propose:
Keeping the website but giving admin access to yourself to add / change anything you need or supporting / completing any changes you need. The new site
The new website looks good initially but is not responsive / not search engine friendly / incomplete and not fit for purpose. In my opinion it is a huge mistake to sacrifice one search engine friendly / modern / responsive / content managed site for new website that doesn’t do justice to the company.
