Just for fun thought I would retrospectively list the notes sent to the client during a website design process once the draft website was created:

This is a responsive website, which means that it will look dramatically different on a smartphone and PC, so we recommend viewing it on both devices.
We would like to get your site live as soon as possible and most of our customers are happy to go live with their first proof, especially if they are busy. This allows us to submit it to the major search engines, which speeds up the process of getting it ranked. You have free changes for the year, so we can always do them when you have more time.
I am your point of contact for any changes that you may want before your site goes live and I can be contacted by replying to this ticket, or if you have any questions you can speak to me via phone between 9:30am – 6pm Monday – Saturday.

Further to our conversation in the office, I have raised this Support Ticket and passed the following changes to the design team. They will notify you when these have been actioned. This normally takes 2 – 3 working days, but may be a little longer during busier periods.

For Website Designers
The key part of the business is the Conservatory and Orangeries – ensure they appear at the top of any content or images throughout the site
HOME page – SLIDER – Will come in with own images to replace some of these. When he gives us his seasonal offer we need to produce one or 2 sliders with just his promotion on them
Check all phone numbers match the header. We will sort out the images when client comes in with them next week. Please call to make an appointment before coming in next week.

1. Email us new LOGO (create new logo options for client)
2. TESTIMONIAL page – make sure all are copied from the current site
3. GALLERY page – add a section Orangeries

4. Add the images supplied to the relevant gallery sections
5 CONTACT form – Add a phone number field and make it (required)

We will be making some updates to the site which will also help your SEO and Adwords campaign. You already have a Business Facebook and we would like to have admin access to this see details below. Would you like any other Social Media accounts set up such as Twitter, Instagram if you intend to use them?

As we won’t be able to transfer your domain before we close over christmas now, please start the domain transfer in the new year and we will put you live then with minimum downtime.

Design Changes
1. Add new images to a new page on the menu bar ‘Conservatories’- these need to be on a slider
2. Add image 2 on a new page on menu after Conservatories called ORANGERIES – Client will come in with 2 more orangery pics to make this a slider like on the Conservatories page
3. Add under LOGO text Conservatories and Orangeries
